The purpose of this entrepreneurship lecture is to teach young lawyers entrepreneurship activities they could engage in with little or no capital while not straying from the law environment. The things I will teach are things you can start up with very minimal or even no cash, your phones, laptops, internet connections and law books and it does not interfere with your regular job.Continue reading

Edit books/Manuscripts

I have lost count of the number of times I had to do that for people and folks get to edit my works too. Essays, blog posts, books academic writings. I am thinking of charging fees because I really spend time to do that especially editing books, manuscripts and even business proposals. I have had cause to even help out with some research and improvements on the work. That takes my time. I mean, if everyone thinks am good editing at their work, then they should pay for it. If you are just like me, it’s “money for hand, back for ground things” from now on. No dulling abeg!

The advent of the 21st Century and the changes it brought about has virtually affected all facets of human existence including the practice of law. The world is now a global village, accessible via the click of a button. No innovation has affected human existence after the creation of nuclear technology like Information and Communication Technology (IT).
All professions and professionals have taken advantage of the many benefits of the IT boom. Although known for its conservatism and slow response to change, legal practice has not been left behind by the fast moving IT train.
