STRUCTURE OF THE MOOT
The competition will feature two phases; a preliminary stage and a finale. Each participating law firm is expected to address an arbitral tribunal either as a Claimant or Respondent on all issues raised in their already submitted Moot Memorials. So each firm is expected to prepare arguments for both sides.
The winners of the preliminary stage shall address the Tribunal on other issues in the memorial to determine a winner.
Students from each participating university would be split into 2 groups and assigned to a law firm. The competition will give participating students an opportunity to experience the depth of legal research needed in international arbitration and a chance at advocacy.
