By Thursday, 18th of August 2016, I had already arrived Port Harcourt for the 56th AGC of the NBA scheduled for 19th to 26th of August 2016. The next day being Friday, I went along with a friend to the Judiciary Complex, for the collection of conference materials, but we were asked to return on Saturday (20th August, 2016) afternoon.Continue reading

We got Mr. Issa Adedokun, the visionary president of the NBA Ikeja, YLF to speak to us on this year’s annual seminar of the body. Here were his responses to our questions. 

The 4th Edition of the NBA Ikeja Branch YLF annual seminar is coming up again this year, what should we expect?

As we all know, law is a noble profession and the society places a great demand on every individual practitioner out there to be among other things, driven with dynamism at work and be above board in carrying out his/her duties with great distinction. The YLF constantly organises several projects/programmes aimed at  capacity building for young lawyers. One of such  is an annual seminar targeted towards an average of about one thousand lawyers, In house Solicitors, Directors/Managers and Consultants from different jurisdictions.Continue reading
